Report From Dr. Dean: We are thankful to God for the relative ease of the travel here with no glitches. On my arrival Tuesday at noon I had time to meet my guide for a tour of the Schindler factory museum. In May 2024, Pam and I had an excellent tour guide who took us through Kazimierz, the old Jewish quarter of Krakow, the old center of which has changed very little from the 1920s and was where much of the exteriors for the Spielberg movie were filmed. The museum is actually a museum of Poland during WW2, which, since Krakow was a third Jewish, and is located about 60 miles east of Oswiecim (Auschwitz), is also a museum of the local Holocaust. My guide had significant knowledge and spoke almost continuously for the 3 hours in the museum, and then took me to two sites we had not visited in Kazimierz.
